Second Chance Proyect

This year Bergner has promoted the "Second Chance" project, an initiative created with the aim of facilitating the social reintegration of women who have been victims of prostitution networks in the "red light" area of Mumbai through training in basic educational, health and legal skills and job training in the textile sector.

Thanks to Bergner, a training center has been set up where 24 workers are being trained daily in the art of sewing, a profession that opens up the possibility of obtaining local jobs. In addition, 72 women between the ages of 14 and 45 are being advised and tutored in basic literacy classes.

This project would not have been possible without the involvement and management of the NGO Cooperación Internacional, which, working with the local NGO Grace Harvest Ministry, has made Second Chance a reality.
